Memo Password, an application offered by Tesseract to Windows users, provides an efficient means of securely storing passwords. Access to the application is provided only to those who know the master password; and from the application’s user friendly interface you can easily access all the stored passwords. Speaking about passwords, there’s even a handy password generator.

You can install Memo Password on your Windows-powered machine in English, French, Italian, and any of the other languages the application supports. A simple setup wizard will guide you through the installation process and you’ll be done in no time at all. When you’re done and you launch Memo Password for the first time, you will be invited to choose a master password.

The main part of the application’s interface is made up of a list of passwords; or to put it in other words, all your passwords are displayed as a list front and center on the application’s interface. At the top there are buttons for adding new passwords to the list, deleting passwords from the list, managing the password categories, and accessing the Options menu. You will find the interface to be very easy to use indeed.

Memo Password will save any passwords you enter. When adding a new entry to the Memo Password archive, you will be invited to provide the following info: pick a password category, enter a title and a short description, enter the username and password (you can also generate a password if you want to), enter a URL, add a note. As previously mentioned, you will be asked to enter a master password – this password will ensure that only you will be able to access the confidential info stored by Memo Password.

The free to try application Memo Password comes with the following limitations: does not store more than 5 passwords, displays a nag screen, opens a URL on exit.

Thanks to Memo Password, you have an efficient means of storing your passwords.

Pros

Support for multiple languages is provided. You will quickly get accustomed to the Memo Password interface. Easily add passwords to the archive. Access to the application is password protected. There’s a handy password generator.

Cons

Shareware limitations: does not store more than 5 passwords, displays a nag screen, opens a URL on exit.
